Founder of Salesian Martial Arts Team and Head Instructor for Taekwondo Training, Instructor Gumina brings many years of experience and training to the Team.

Instructor Gumina, along with Mr. Staley, created the Team with the intent of combining two very different Martial Arts into one very new and dynamic Martial Art that would provide the best of both Taekwondo and Kenpo.

Instructor Gumina continues his studies in Taekwondo and has also expanded his martial arts tool chest by adding the Korean martial art of Farang Mu Sul as a recent Black Belt.

This concept of expanding one's martial arts knowledge truly facilitates the introduction of various other types of Martial Arts for an even better background of usable tools for the students.

Co-Founder of the Salesian Martial Arts Team and Head Instructor for Kenpo Training, Mr. Staley brings many years of experience and training to the Team.

The word Kenpo means "Fist Law" or “Law of the Fist“. This Martial Art utilizes mostly hands and techniques and is known for very fast hand movements in self defense techniques.

The Kenpo system that is taught by Mr. Staley derives it's content from the American Kenpo Karate system developed by Senior Grandmaster Edmund K. Parker of Honolulu, Hawaii.

Mr. Staley also has an Honorary Black Belt in Farang Mu Sul presented to him by GrandMaster Michael DeAlba.

Head Instructor
Mr. James Staley
